This piece is a recreation of an original scenery of Black River in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. I added these teenage boys to evoke the feeling of being present in the moment on this nice summer day. As the boys fished in the river, the hills look beyond, framing their moment by adding depth and perspective. An interesting feature of this piece is the addition of orange butterflies which signifies joy, positivity, and inner bliss.
