As we all know, Grandma’s cooking is the best, but what was also important to us growing up in the Caribbean, are the stories Grandma would tell. My memories and interactions with my grandmother are characterized by the stories she would tell about her childhood and how much of a troublemaker my father was as a youngster. Most of us can relate to the comfort and warmth of a beloved maternal figure.
